MedicDialr
The EMS hospital directory, built for the truck.
MedicDialr is the receiving-facility directory built for both seats of the ambulance at once. On a call, a provider pulls up the right hospital, filtered by exactly the capabilities that matter, sees its EMS report line and address in large type, taps to dial, and hands the destination to Apple Maps, Google Maps, or Waze. A few taps, and no signal required.
It is a directory and a hand-off, not a phone system: calls go through the native iPhone dialer on your own carrier, and navigation opens the map app you already run. Each hospital carries as many labeled lines as it needs, whether that is the EMS report line, a BioPhone, a STEMI or stroke line, or the main number, and reusable capability flags like Level 1 Trauma, PCI, or Comprehensive Stroke Center drive one-tap filtering and sorting by distance and transport time.
It is an iPhone and iPad app, usable individually or across an agency: admins keep the shared directory current on iOS or from a web portal, providers consume it, and CSV import handles bulk data. Subscriptions are billed per device.
What it handles
- Capability filtering: trauma level, PCI/STEMI, stroke, pediatric, burn, and any flag you define
- Multiple labeled report lines per hospital (EMS report, BioPhone, STEMI, stroke, main)
- Tap-to-dial through the native iPhone dialer, on your own carrier, with no VoIP or call routing
- One-tap navigation hand-off to Apple Maps, Google Maps, or Waze
- Sort by distance or name, with live distance and estimated transport time
- An in-truck detail view with the report line and address in large type
- Fully offline, with optional offline map data for navigation without signal
- iPhone and iPad, with individual and agency subscriptions and CSV import
